Professional Practice in Technical Rescue Instruction (PPT)

The PPT is a compulsory module for the Foundation Degree and is a double module (40 credit). The course is delivered on-line (through eLearn - the University's on-line learning site), and provides students with an opportunity to develop their understanding and application of the principles of teaching and learning. The on-line aspect provides the foundation knowledge and enables students to evaluate their own and their peers teaching practice. The assessment strategy includes the design and delivery of lesson plans plus a critical review of one of these sessions, through the application of knowledge gained through the on-line content.

Rescue 3 Instructor qualification (SRT, RRT, SRBO or SRTA)
Professional Practice Portfolio
