Awareness Water Rescue

A one day classroom based course designed to provide personnel who may be working near water with sufficient knowledge to be aware of the hazards created by this environment and develop an understanding of water rescue techniques.

Lifejacket Competent Users Course

This is a NEW Rescue 3 International course and is designed to meet your organisation's duty of care for personnel deployed to a water site, water incident or flood when there is NOT an intention for the personnel to enter the water for technical rescue purposes.

Ideal for police, emergency medical services, category 2 responders and Fire Service teams such as incident commanders, duty flexi officers, first responders and high volume pump crews, this course is specific for personnel who would normally wear and operate with either 150N or 275N inflation life jacket as part of their PPE.

Further more, the self rescue and aided recovery of a swimmer wearing an auto inflation life jacket requires different protocols and techniques to a fully equipped responder in dry suit and rescue PFD. It is therefore prudent to ensure that your personnel receive specific training in the use of this type of PPE to adequately prepare themselves and to protect your agency.
