Rescue 3 (UK) is able to deliver the full range of Rescue 3 Instructor Certifications.

Currently these are:

- Water & Flood Awareness Tutor
- Basic Water Rescue Instructor
- Swiftwater & Flood Rescue Instructor
- Swiftwater Rescue Boat Instructor

Water & Flood Awareness Tutor
This qualification allows you to deliver the Rescue 3 Water & Flood Awareness Course within your own Agency.

Course content
This one day ‘train the trainer’ course looks at delivering all aspects of the Water & Flood Awareness Course. Candidates will be provided with a Rescue 3 PowerPoint presentation for the course.

Basic Water Rescue Instructor
This qualification allows you to deliver the Rescue 3 Basic Water Rescuer, and Water & Flood Awareness courses, within your own Agency.

Course content
This two day ‘train the trainer’ course looks at delivering all aspects of the Water & Flood Awareness and Basic Water Rescuer courses. Day one covers the Water and Flood Awareness course and candidates will be provided with a Rescue 3 PowerPoint presentation for the course. Day two will be a mixture of classroom and practical sessions looking at the delivery of the Basic Water Rescuer course

Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Instructor (SRT Instructor)
This qualification allows you to teach the following Rescue 3 courses within your own Agency:
- Water & Flood Awareness
- Basic Water Rescuer
- Swiftwater & Flood First Responder
- Whitewater Rescue Technician
- Swiftwater & Flood Rescue Technician
In addition to being able to deliver the above courses a number of UK fire brigades have used this accreditation as a benchmark of competence and expertise amongst key personnel.

Course content
This is a combined training & assessment course looking at the delivery of the programme and has both theoretical and practical elements.
Candidates will be assessed on their personal rescue skills as well as their ability to deliver both practical and theoretical swiftwater and flood rescue training sessions.

Pre-requisites
Candidates must hold:
- Rescue 3 SRT
- Rescue 3 SRT recert or WRT
- Rescue 3 SRT A
- Current Advanced First Aid qualification

It is worth bearing in mind that the above courses are the minimum attendance required to move through the programme. Candidates need to ensure that they have sufficient training and assimilation opportunities between courses to develop their skills and knowledge. This is a vital stage before attending the Instructor class.

Swiftwater Rescue Boat Instructor
At the time of print Rescue 3 Europe are expanding the Rescue 3 Rescue Boat and Rescue Boat Instructor programme for 2012. This will see the introduction of two new powered boat rescue courses: Rescue Boat Operator, and Flood Rescue Boat Operator to enhance the existing Swiftwater Rescue Boat Operator course. Independent Instructor status
Instructors who successfully complete their Instructor course will be awarded Agency status, which enables them to deliver Rescue 3 certified courses within their own organisation. Agency Instructors can then work towards Independent status, which allows them to deliver Rescue 3 certified courses on a commercial basis.
