Course Length: 4 days
Course Times: 9am – approx 5pm each day (except for night exercises)
Pre-requisites for Attending the Course:
Confident swimmer
Equipment
The course involves some water-based work so please come prepared!
You will need:
Wet sessions:
- Drysuit*
- Helmet*
- Wetboots*
- Bouyancy aid* (preferably with harness)
Dry sessions:
- Warm clothes
- Waterproofs
- Sturdy footwear
* Full PPE (drysuit, woolly bear, boots, helmet, and buoyancy aid), is available to hire if required. Cost - £15 per person, per day.
All technical equipment will be provided by Rescue 3 (UK).
Food and Accommodation
This is a fully residential course with accommodation starting the evening before the course (evening meal included). Check-in is from 5pm. Check–out is after breakfast after the last day of the course. Packed lunches are provided by the hotel.
All meals will be provided from dinner the evening before your course to breakfast on the day after your course. Accommodation is on a single room basis.
The menu will be provided by the Hotel, any additional purchases, such as drinks, must be paid for at the time and not charged to your room.
