Conference Details

The conference will be held at the new Rescue 3(UK) South West training centre located on the edge of Dartmoor. The venue is ideal in providing the range of water conditions including rapids, weirs and lakes that will enable a wide range of demonstrations to be conducted at the conference venue.

There is a good range of accommodation available locally and some at the venue itself.

The venue has good road, rail and air links to the rest of the country ~ please see the venue page for further details.

The intention is to create an informal and practical atmosphere so please come dressed in casual clothing ready to move around in parkland and on the edge of water courses. Some of the day will be spent outdoors so please come prepared for the weather.

For those who would like to experience in water activities on the second day of the conference, we will provide an opportunity together with all the necessary PPE and specialist clothing. A range of workshops and demonstrations led by swift water rescue instructors Rescue 3 (UK) and blue light services experts will be offered on day 2.

You have an option to attend the conference dinner on the evening of day 1 where there will be a good opportunity for extended conversations and networking.
