The principle aims of this module are to:
- Develop knowledge and understanding of operating a motorised boat in a swiftwater environment.
- Develop confidence and competence in the practical aspects of the swiftwater rescue boat techniques and skills required by rescue personnel in operating a motorised rescue boat in swiftwater and flood situations
- Train the student in utilisation and adaptation of standard and innovative rescue boats and equipment in swiftwater situations.
