Course outline

This five day course builds on the in-water and rope rescue concepts introduced at SRT and introduces search and team management issues and night operations. This course is particularly beneficial to those who will be dealing with advanced water or high angle access to water situations or who will be in charge of a team of rescue technicians in a swiftwater environment.

This course can be used to revalidate existing Rescue 3 SRT certification.

Course content

Includes:
- Re-cap of SRT skills
- In-water operations at night
- Casualty care, handling and transport
- River and flood search techniques and management
- Technical rope solutions for water rescue
- Highline boat rescue techniques

Current Rescue 3 SRT certification
